We wanted to share a super quick, unique & delicious appetizer recipe with you all tonight. My sister brought these to our Christmas dinner & I think I made a main course out of them that night. One week later I seem to have developed a turkey, cream cheese & pickled asparagus addiction!
If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary to share at your next potluck or gathering, give these a try- everyone will be asking about the recipe!”
Turkey wrapped pickled asparagus
-Deli sliced turkey
-Pickled asparagus
-cream cheese (full fat of course)
I’m sure any variety of turkey will work fine but I tried some applewood smoked turkey this last batch & it was a perfect match adding a tiny bit of sweetness to this already heavenly combination.
Look for the pickled asparagus with the canned black olives. One of our local grocers carries them & the other does not (correct that’s just 2 grocery stores) so they may prove to be difficult to find.
-spread a good tablespoon of cream cheese lengthwise down the center of each slice of turkey. Lay an asparagus spear on the center & roll. They are great to make ahead a day too if needed.
