It’s been a super busy week in our print shop. One of the nagging tasks that I’ve been meaning to get to is a complete re-design of our logo & shop appearance on-line. While I enjoy every minute of the design process involved, it is so difficult for me to commit to a new look. It feels so permanent. Once we have it designed & revised a bit to work on various media platforms, there’s letterhead, signage at our brick & mortar shop, business cards…the list goes on and on when you’re working to build your brand.
One of my favorite tasks in this process has been photographing all of my designs we sell on an updated backdrop. We chose the oldest and most beat up piece of furniture in the shop…& it’s perfect! Lots of character, rich and subtly faded shades of woodgrain & knots, but a smooth and matte background that pairs perfectly with our designs & especially our favor bags & tags. Simple and elemental, with a little touch of glam & modern design.
Here’s a preview of one of my favorites…Staging them just perfectly & creatively is sometimes a trick, but when I love the end product it’s so worth it to take the time & try lots of different options. Lucky me to have a cute little flower shop just two doors down. A shout out to Grandma’s Garden of Marcus, IA for the fresh touch of mother nature in the photos!
